Note To Our Viewers:
Our site uses pop-ups for certain maps and data. You can rest
assured that there are no redundant, damaging or annoying pop-ups
except for data we provide... Please allow pop-ups from our site so
you can view all our data when requested... Thank You!
So what else is new?
Well, not new anymore, but they seem to be hits that people check
out daily.
Our latest
additions to our site have been a smash hit. Our Live Storm Tracking
has been showing us real live thunderstorm tracking and lightning
strikes 24 hours a day! ....
If you haven't checked this out yet, you're missing
one heck of a graphic view of our local and regional
storms. It's capable of accurately depicting and
tracking storms up to 375 miles in all directions from
our station. We can even go as far as 750 miles, but not
accurately. Check it out if you haven't already! Our
Extreme Trac is graphic intense, but it's the most data
driven layout we have. Be patient while it loads and
make sure you have java enabled. If not, just use our
static Trac. Might not be as colorful, but it's still
informative.
..also
"Weather,
The Movie".
You can now watch yesterdays weather all in less than a minute. Go to Live Data > Wx Cam menu and select Yesterday's
Wx Movie!
It's time lapsed and it's neat! Please be patient while
it loads!

Check
our measured snow fall amounts by clicking here....
02/28/10 -
Notice: Recently there have been people questioning
our methods and amounts of snow recorded. While we tried to explain
that it varies in ALL areas, they were persistent to say we were
wrong. We are sorry, but what we measure here is not necessarily
what someone else measures the next town over or even in different
parts of our own town. There are many factors that affect snow
amounts. Wind, elevation, temperature, etc. are the most common.
It's really not rocket science, but measurements are what they are
and they will not be altered because someone says, "Hey, they
got 22 inches next town over and you show only 11 inches."... It
is what it is and our measurement guidelines have been set by
NOAA's NWS. If you feel we are wrong, then we suggest you use
their guidelines and measure your area of interest. Here are also
some instructions for making your own snowboard.
Click
here... Once you have that, you just need a ruler...
Thank you!
